PawCare Animal Shelter is a dedicated non-profit organization located in the heart of Khalapur, Maharashtra. Since our founding in 2012, we have been committed to rescuing abused, abandoned and injured animals from the streets, highways and rural areas around Khalapur. Our team of passionate animal lovers and veterinary professionals works tirelessly around the clock to ensure that every creature receives the medical care, nutrition and emotional support they need to recover and thrive.

At PawCare, we believe that every animal deserves a second chance at life. Our shelter is home to more than 200 dogs, cats, cattle, birds and other small animals at any given time. We operate a full-fledged veterinary clinic, rehabilitation center and adoption facility within our premises in Khalapur. Through our community outreach programs, we have successfully conducted over 300 vaccination drives, sterilization camps and awareness sessions across Khalapur and neighboring villages in Maharashtra.

Our adoption program is the cornerstone of our mission. We carefully match each rescued animal with loving families after thorough home checks and compatibility assessments. To date, we have helped over 1,800 animals find their forever homes across Khalapur, Pune, Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra. Every adoption is a celebration of life and a testament to the power of compassion and community support.

We collaborate with local panchayats, schools, and civic bodies in Khalapur to promote animal welfare education and responsible pet ownership. Our volunteers regularly visit communities to provide free veterinary first-aid, distribute animal feed and educate children about kindness to animals. We are also actively involved in disaster response for animals during floods and emergencies in the Khalapur region of Maharashtra.
