PawSave Foundation was born in the heart of Hatkanangle, Maharashtra, from a simple yet powerful belief — that every animal deserves dignity, care, and a safe place to call home. What began as a small group of passionate volunteers rescuing injured street dogs has grown into one of the region's most trusted animal welfare organizations. Our journey is built on countless sleepless nights, emergency rescue calls, and the unwavering commitment of our team who refuse to look away when an animal is in distress.

Today, we operate a fully equipped animal shelter in Hatkanangle that houses over a hundred rescued animals at any given time. Our rescue network spans across the town and surrounding villages, reaching animals in remote areas where veterinary services are scarce. We work hand-in-hand with local municipalities, veterinary doctors, and community volunteers to create a safety net for stray, abandoned, and injured animals. From puppies separated from their mothers to cattle injured in road accidents, no creature is ever turned away from our doors.

Our rehabilitation programs are designed to give every rescued animal the best possible chance at a full recovery — both physical and emotional. We provide comprehensive veterinary treatment, nutritional support, behavioral training, and most importantly, unconditional love. Animals that cannot be released back into their territories are placed through our rigorous adoption program, ensuring they find permanent, loving homes. Every adoption is a celebration of resilience and hope, a testament to what compassion can achieve.

Community education lies at the heart of our mission. We believe that lasting change comes through awareness and empathy. Our team regularly conducts workshops in schools, colleges, and residential areas across Hatkanangle, teaching people about responsible pet ownership, the importance of sterilization, rabies prevention, and the humane treatment of working animals. We have successfully sterilized and vaccinated thousands of community dogs and cats, significantly reducing the stray population and improving public health outcomes.

As we look to the future, our vision is ambitious yet grounded in reality. We aim to establish Hatkanangle's first fully-equipped wildlife rescue unit, expand our foster care network, and build a modern veterinary hospital that serves all animals regardless of their owner's ability to pay.
