At PawRescue Dhadgaon, we believe that every animal deserves love, care, and a safe place to call home. Founded in the heart of Dhadgaon, Maharashtra, our organization has grown from a small volunteer group into a full-fledged animal rescue and rehabilitation center serving the entire region. Our journey began with a single injured puppy on the streets of Dhadgaon, and today we've rescued over 2,500 animals.
Our mission is to create a compassionate community where stray animals are not seen as a nuisance but as beings deserving of respect and protection. We work tirelessly across Dhadgaon and nearby villages, responding to distress calls, treating injuries, and providing shelter to animals in need. Our team of veterinarians, animal behaviorists, and passionate volunteers works round the clock to ensure no animal suffers alone.
We operate a fully-equipped animal shelter and medical facility in Dhadgaon, complete with an operation theater, recovery rooms, and spacious kennels. Our vaccination and sterilization programs have significantly reduced the spread of diseases and controlled the stray population humanely. We've also established a strong network of foster families across Maharashtra who provide temporary loving homes for animals recovering from treatment.
Education and community engagement are at the core of our work. We regularly conduct awareness programs in Dhadgaon schools, colleges, and residential communities, teaching people about animal welfare, responsible pet ownership, and the importance of co-existing peacefully with street animals. Our volunteer program attracts students, professionals, and retirees who share a common love for animals.
As we look to the future, our vision is to expand our facility, establish a mobile veterinary clinic, and create a model animal rescue center that can be replicated across rural Maharashtra.
