Kolkata Flooring Studio began in a small Beleghata workshop in 2009 with three carpenters, one cutting machine and a simple promise — give Kolkata homes a floor that feels as good as it looks. Today we operate a full flooring materials showroom and a trained installation crew serving every corner of the city, from Ballygunge and Salt Lake to Behala and New Town.

We stock an extensive range of flooring materials for the Kolkata climate — engineered wood that resists humidity, SPC and luxury vinyl planks that handle monsoon moisture, vitrified tiles for heavy footfall, natural Italian marble for statement lobbies, and epoxy systems for factories and warehouses. Every product we keep is tested for dimensional stability before it reaches a customer's floor.

Our team handles the complete journey: free site measurement, moisture testing of the sub-floor, level correction, material recommendation according to budget and footfall, professional installation and final handover with a written warranty. We never subcontract the fitting work — the crew that arrives at your home is our own, uniformed and trained in dust-controlled methods.

Because Kolkata's older buildings often have uneven or damp sub-floors, we invest heavily in surface preparation. Self-levelling compounds, waterproof membranes, acoustic underlays and vapour barriers are part of our standard process, not optional extras. That is why our floors stay flat, silent and gap-free even after years of monsoon cycles.
