Founded in 1998 in the heritage city of Mysuru, Karnataka, Mysuru Festival Sweets began as a modest 200 square feet sweet counter near the Devaraja Market. Our founder, Sri Krishnamurthy Rao, learnt the art of making Mysore Pak from his father — a palace kitchen halwai — and turned that single recipe into a business that now supplies more than 400 retail counters, temples, wedding halls and corporate offices across Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Bengaluru and the wider Karnataka region. Every single day, our master halwais hand-stir over 300 kilograms of sweets in traditional iron urulis, ensuring that the taste you remember from your childhood never changes.
What separates us from ordinary sweet shops in Mysuru is an obsession with the raw material. We use 100% pure cow ghee sourced from dairy cooperatives in Mandya district, single-origin cashews from Mangaluru, Badam from Iran, khoya prepared in-house every morning at 4 AM, and zero artificial colours or preservatives. Our kitchen follows strict FSSAI hygiene protocols with dedicated vegetarian-only production lines, stainless steel preparation areas and daily quality checks. This is why our Mysore Pak still has that unmistakable grainy melt, and why our Kaju Katli snaps cleanly instead of tasting doughy.
Our CEO, Smt. Anitha Krishnamurthy, along with a dedicated team of 48 craftsmen, packaging specialists, quality supervisors and delivery executives, has transformed the business from a single counter into a full festival sweets manufacturing house. The leadership team works with each customer personally — from a family ordering two kilograms of Motichoor Laddu for Ganesh Chaturthi to a software company in Mysuru ordering 600 corporate Diwali hampers with custom branding. Nothing is treated as "just an order" here; every box carries the family name.
Festival season is our busiest and most joyful time. During Deepavali, Ugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, Sankranti, Navaratri and Christmas, our kitchen runs in three shifts and our logistics team delivers fresh sweets across Mysuru city within four hours of packing. We also handle bulk wedding orders, housewarming ceremonies, temple prasadam supply and corporate gifting with dedicated relationship managers, printed personalised labels, custom hamper configurations and GST-compliant invoicing for businesses across Karnataka.
Today, Mysuru Festival Sweets is proud to be counted among the most trusted festival sweet brands in Mysuru, India. We have completed over 1,200 successful festival and corporate gifting projects, served more than 18,000 happy families, and built a taste reputation that travels by word of mouth alone. Our promise is simple and unchanging — pure ingredients, honest pricing, and sweets that taste exactly the way they did on the very first day we opened our shutters in Mysuru.
