Narmada Brass Instruments was founded in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, with a single conviction — that an Indian musician should never have to compromise on the instrument they play. What began as a two-man repair bench near the old city market has grown into one of central India's most respected brass instrument houses, serving school bands, police and military ensembles, temple orchestras, wedding brass groups and touring professionals.
Our workshop combines traditional hand-lathe techniques with modern CNC valve casing, precise bore calibration and ultrasonic cleaning. Every trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, trombone, French horn, euphonium and tuba that leaves our floor is play-tested by a working musician before it is packed — because a spec sheet can never tell you how an instrument responds in the upper register.
We work exclusively with high-grade yellow brass, rose brass and nickel-silver alloys sourced from certified mills. Lacquer finishes are applied in controlled humidity chambers, and raw brass options are hand-buffed for players who prefer an open, uncoloured sound. This obsession with material honesty is why our instruments hold their tone through years of daily practice, parade marches and monsoon-season performances.
Beyond manufacturing, we are a full-service destination. Our Jabalpur facility handles dent removal, valve re-fitting, slide alignment, solder restoration, mouthpiece customisation and complete overhauls. Educational institutions across Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh rely on our annual maintenance programmes to keep their entire instrument inventory stage-ready.
