Five years of patient teaching, hundreds of practice hours and one simple belief — every student can play beautifully with the right guidance.
SwarSadhana Keyboard Academy was founded in Arrah, India with a clear purpose — to make quality keyboard and piano education accessible to every aspiring musician in the city. What started as a small weekend batch of six students has grown into a full-fledged academy with dedicated practice rooms, digital keyboards, and a curriculum that balances Western notation with Indian melodic sensibility.
Our teaching philosophy is simple: fundamentals first, songs always. Beginners start with finger independence, posture, hand positioning and note reading, but within weeks they are already playing recognisable melodies. This approach keeps motivation high while quietly building the technical discipline that advanced playing demands.
Every batch at our Arrah academy is deliberately kept small. This allows our faculty to correct technique in real time, customise practice routines for each learner and track weekly progress through a structured digital logbook that parents and adult students can review at any time.
We prepare students for recognised grade examinations, school and college cultural competitions, church and temple choir accompaniment, and live stage performances. Our senior students regularly perform at local events across Arrah and Bhojpur district, gaining the stage confidence that no classroom alone can teach.
Beyond lessons, the academy runs monthly workshops on chord voicing, improvisation, music theory and home studio recording. We also offer instrument guidance, keyboard maintenance support and a curated library of practice backing tracks — because a complete musician is built with complete support.
Nine focused programmes designed for absolute beginners, intermediate learners, exam aspirants and performing artists across Arrah and online.
A carefully paced starting programme for students who have never touched a keyboard before. You will learn correct sitting posture, finger numbering, five-finger exercises and simple note reading within the first four weeks.
By the end of this Arrah academy module, learners confidently perform ten easy melodies with both hands, understand basic rhythm counting and can follow a lead sheet independently.

Structured classical training covering scales, arpeggios, cadences and graded repertoire from Baroque to Romantic composers. Ideal for students who want a disciplined, examination-ready musical base.
Lessons include sight-reading drills and aural training, helping learners develop the ear-and-eye coordination that classical performance demands.
Learn More
Learn the hooks, intros and interludes of popular Hindi film songs using chord charts, rhythm patterns and style-specific voicings. This is our most requested batch among teenagers in Arrah.
Students also learn to play with backing tracks, match tempo with a metronome and adapt songs to different scales for live singing accompaniment.
Learn More
A dedicated theory programme covering staff notation, key signatures, intervals, chord construction, time signatures and harmonic progression — the language behind every song you play.
Theory classes run alongside practical lessons so students immediately apply concepts on the keyboard rather than memorising them in isolation.
Learn More
Focused coaching for graded music examinations including technical work, three set pieces, sight-reading and aural assessment. Mock exams are conducted every eight weeks.
We provide printed repertoire guidance, recording support and honest progress reports so parents know exactly where their child stands before the exam date.
Learn More
For players who already read music and want freedom on the instrument. Learn scale modes, reharmonisation, passing chords, fills and melodic improvisation over standard progressions.
Sessions include live jam practice with our faculty, ear-training challenges and creative composition assignments reviewed every fortnight.
Learn More
Training for students who want to perform with bands, choirs and at cultural events. Covers stage setup, patch selection, rhythm presets, split and layer functions, and monitoring basics.
Students rehearse with a full band arrangement and perform at our annual Arrah recital night in front of a live audience.
Learn More
Professional servicing for digital keyboards and synthesizers — key contact cleaning, dead key repair, power section checks, jack replacement and internal dust servicing.
We also advise on the right instrument to buy according to your budget and playing level, and handle doorstep pickup within Arrah city limits.

Live one-to-one and small-group online lessons for students outside Arrah or anyone who prefers learning from home. Dual-camera setup lets you see both the face and the keys clearly.
Every session is recorded and shared with the learner, along with digital sheet music, practice tracks and a weekly homework checklist.

Genuine feedback from families across Arrah and from online learners who joined our keyboard batches.
My daughter joined the beginner batch at this Arrah academy when she was eight. Within five months she played a full Hindi song at our family function. The teachers correct every finger movement patiently and never rush the syllabus.
I always thought music theory was boring until I attended the notation classes here. The way chords and scales are explained on the keyboard itself makes everything click immediately. My sight-reading has improved beyond expectation.
The online Zoom batch saved me completely. I live outside Arrah for work but still attend live lessons twice a week. Recordings are shared after every class, so I never miss practice material even during busy office weeks.
I enrolled for the Bollywood keyboard module and it was exactly what I wanted. Chord charts, backing tracks and tempo practice are all provided. My only suggestion would be to add one more weekend slot for working students.
My old keyboard had three dead keys. The academy team repaired and serviced it within two days at a very fair price. They also tuned the settings and explained proper maintenance so the instrument lasts longer now.
I am a school music teacher and I joined the improvisation course to sharpen my playing. The jam sessions with faculty pushed me to try voicings I had never used before. Genuinely the most practical keyboard training in the region.
Quick answers about batches, fees, instruments and online keyboard classes at our Arrah academy.
Not at all. Beginners can start with our studio instruments during class hours. However, daily home practice is essential, so we recommend purchasing a 61-key portable keyboard within the first month. Our faculty will guide you on the right model for your budget and level.
We accept students from six years of age onwards. Children between six and nine join our junior foundation batch with shorter, activity-based sessions. There is no upper age limit — we currently have adult learners in their fifties enjoying our weekend batches.
Most dedicated beginners play a simple two-hand melody within six to eight weeks. A complete film song with chords and rhythm typically takes four to six months of consistent practice. Progress depends far more on regular daily practice than on the number of classes attended.
Yes, when conducted properly. We use a dual-camera setup so students can clearly see both the teacher's hand positioning and the notation sheet. Every online session is recorded, and students receive digital notes, backing tracks and a weekly practice checklist — the same material used in our offline Arrah batches.
We do. Our grade preparation track covers technical work, set repertoire, sight-reading and aural tests in the style of internationally recognised graded syllabi. Mock examinations are held every eight weeks, and parents receive a written progress report before the actual exam.
