About Our Studio
Proddatur's Trusted Partner For Giving Structures A Second Life
RetroFit Proddatur was founded on a simple observation: most buildings in Proddatur and the wider Kadapa region are not worn out — they are simply under-engineered for the way people use them today. Instead of recommending demolition, our engineers and architects study the existing frame, test the materials, and design a retrofitting strategy that adds decades of safe service life at a fraction of rebuild cost.
Our multi-disciplinary team brings together structural engineers, conservation architects, MEP consultants and site supervisors who have collectively delivered retrofitting and adaptive reuse projects for residential apartments, textile godowns, educational institutions, temples, hospitals and commercial complexes across Proddatur, Kadapa, Mydukur, Pulivendula and Jammalamadugu.
Every project begins with a condition assessment — non-destructive testing, crack mapping, corrosion analysis and load-path evaluation. Only after we understand what the building is truly capable of do we draw up a retrofit scheme, so you never pay for strengthening you do not need.
We work with proven systems including RC jacketing, steel plate bonding, carbon and glass fibre wrapping, micro-concrete repair, epoxy grouting, jacketing of columns and beams, foundation underpinning and waterproofing renewal. Because we self-perform most of the work, we control quality, timeline and cost from day one to handover.
Sustainability sits at the heart of adaptive reuse. Reusing an existing structure typically avoids 50–75% of the embodied carbon of a new build, saves months of approvals, and lets owners unlock fresh commercial value from assets that were written off. That is the future we are building in Proddatur — one careful retrofit at a time.
