Hyderabad's Ecological Landscape Design Studio

EcoVerdant Ecological Landscapes is a Hyderabad-based landscape design and build studio founded on a simple conviction — that a garden should give back more than it takes. Established in 2013, our practice sits at the intersection of ecology, horticulture and architecture, serving homeowners, villa communities, corporate campuses, schools and hospitality projects across Hyderabad, Secunderabad and the wider Telangana region.

Our work begins with the land itself. Before a single line is drawn, our team studies the site's soil profile, natural drainage, sun path, wind movement and existing vegetation. That field intelligence shapes every decision that follows — from the species palette we select to the way stormwater is slowed, spread and sunk into the ground rather than rushed into a drain.

We specialise in native and naturalised planting drawn from the Deccan plateau: hardy grasses, flowering shrubs, butterfly-host plants and shade-giving trees that have evolved alongside Telangana's climate. This approach dramatically reduces irrigation demand, eliminates the need for chemical inputs and creates habitats where birds, bees and butterflies return within a single season.

Water is the second pillar of our design philosophy. Every EcoVerdant project integrates rainwater harvesting, bioswales, permeable paving, mulch regimes and drip irrigation zoned by hydro-zone. Many of our Hyderabad clients now meet 40 to 70 percent of their landscape water requirement from harvested rain — a meaningful shift in a city that knows the value of every drop.

From the first concept sketch to the final planting day and long-term maintenance, our in-house team of landscape architects, horticulturists, irrigation specialists and site engineers stays accountable for the outcome. The result is a portfolio of living landscapes that mature gracefully, lower running costs and quietly restore the ecology of the plots they occupy.
